What is HEPA?

HEPA stands for High-Efficiency Particulate Air. It's a type of mechanical air filter that works by forcing air through a fine mesh that traps harmful particles. HEPA filters are classified by their efficiency. H13 is one of the higher grades within the True HEPA standard:

H13: Captures at least 99.95% of particles at 0.3 microns. It is one of the higher grades and is considered medical grade
